The jet-setting lifestyle BC (Before Children) now seems a distant memory. Gone are the days of arriving at the airport for a leisurely spot of shopping and a glass of bubbly before casually sauntering onto the plane.

For me, long haul flights used to be a relaxing affair and provided a great opportunity to catch up on an entire years’ worth of films. Now, re-runs of Peppa Pig and Paw Patrol are more likely to dominate the viewing schedule.

But fear not. Flying with young children doesn’t have to be a chore. In fact, with the right mindset and some planning, flying can become a fun part of the whole adventure.
